Tina Patnode is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with 23+ years of experience providing Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for individuals with gastrointestinal conditions such as IBS, Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO), IBD, Celiac disease, and Gastroparesis. In addition, she works with those who do not have a definitive diagnosis but suffer from diarrhea, constipation, abdominal bloating, and pain.
For several years, Tina worked for a large Gastroenterology Clinic in Portland, Oregon where she gained exceptional clinical experience . Outside of her thriving private practice as a GI-Focused Dietitian, Tina is advancing her practice by working towards certification as an Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner.
Tina has always had a dream to start her own private practice. So, that is exactly what she did! In 2018, Tina founded GI Nutrition NW, LLC and opened her office in Southwest Portland. In March of 2020, Tina began providing virtual nutrition therapy (Telehealth) to those who reside in Oregon, Washington, California, Arizona, and Colorado.
Tina recognizes that each person is unique and has specific needs. She will develop a diet and nutritional plan that is tailored to get you on track to optimal digestive health.
Tina firmly believes that to be successful, you need more than a list of what not to eat; you need to know what you can eat. With the support and guidance of a well-versed and knowledgeable dietitian like Tina, the success-rate of diet and nutrition therapy is vastly increased.
Outside of Tina’s professional life, she stays active and enjoys walking, cycling, and Bikram yoga.
